  • Graduation

So I graduated last Saturday.  It was a fun party.  We had ice cream and lots of homemade toppings.  117 people showed up out of 150 invited.  We all sat at tables that had playing cards on them and sheets of paper to write note to me on.  Some of the memorable ones were, lots of little kids writing "Congratulations" and various spellings of the same.  and "Gracie Diana". "Gracie Dinanna." "Gracie Dinana."  "Gracie Diana." and     "'Everything is Diana's fault'"
Don't drink the beer out of Tupperware.  Don't be a turkey.  "Don't eat anything that is growing green fuz.  don't play with fire..it's hot." "have, like, a totally great time at college! HA-HA-HA! Kimberly" those are some of the funny ones.  I enjoyed the serius ones, but I dont' think I'll post them.
and because someone (I'll remember who the second I hit "post") asked me too.

    Bakers:  Chairs, Lanterns, Mason jars(finding)
Wards:   Sanity rescuers, Flowers, Sound system, Set up
Badenochs: Mason jars, Flat tire transporter, clean up
Svoboda:   Set up, Chairs, Clean up
    Dills: Chairs, Set up
    Patricks: Mason jars
    Leboviches: Freezer space, Chairs
    Johnsons Chairs
    City Lights: Chairs
    Harambee: Chairs
    Steeles: Chairs, Naomi
    St. Pierre's: Clean up
    Grants: Clean up

    Winner: Wards

That is just what I know off the top of my head.  Many other people helped too.
Like my family, who never complained once about all the extra work that went into this project and my Mom who hand addressed all the invitations, and Susan who helped set up the display table and Karen who made two gallons of chocolate and Nancy who helped set out cards and Dad who helped set out tables and GariOnn who helped with chairs.

(I think Mrs. Svoboda asked me to do this and if it wasn't I'm sorry.)

  • Laughing

So last night Me and Karen and my parents laughed from about 10 to 12.  My mom and Karen were reading some of the "novels" that the 7th-8th grade English class are writing.  They are pretty good. or well funny. It helped that we were slightly slap happy.  But she had a place called nirvana which they stayed at for several months after having sever emotional trauma (which she never dealt with).  and that was just the least of it.  She is also determined to have every single fantasy animal there is in her story.  Even a uniman which jumped in and out of her story in two sentences.  but they're trying.

  • walking

So now I can walk with out my brace and crutches.  I still limp and get tired easily but we're working on it.  I still wear my brace when going out and some around the house just to keep it safe.  I think that's all.

    Interesting youth meeting.
